Dr. Jones's Unique Practice

What sets my practice and expertise apart in my field is the comprehensive approach I take towards patient care. Rather than rushing through appointments, I prioritize spending quality time with each patient to truly understand their needs and concerns.

Each patient is unique, so I try to tailor my approach to address their specific issues. This might involve a combination of patient education, exercises, soft tissue therapy, myofascial release, acupuncture, kinesiology taping, mobilizations, and adjustments when necessary.

Additionally, I have extra training in pediatric and pre and post-natal care allowing me to work specifically with these patient populations. I am certified in Pediatric Intraoral Palate Specific Technique which enables me to assess and treat intraoral dysfunction, poor tongue function, and palate imbalance in infants. I am Webster certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association which helps pregnancy patients prepare the pelvis by balancing bony structures, muscles and ligaments. I am also certified in Neurofunctional Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University to help with variety of issues.

Overall, I have a combination of courses and experiencing allowing me to work infants, children, pregnancy patients, as well those suffering from temporomandibular joint disorder and coccydynia.

Areas of Focus and Specialization

My current specialties are treating baby mama’s and their little ones. I typically focus on infants aged 0-6 months dealing with tethered oral tissue issues, body tension, constipation and or colic-like symptoms. I have undergone specific training for tethered oral tissues and pediatric care. For mothers, my services extend from pre-pregnancy to postpartum care, aiming to establish a supportive environment where they feel listened to and supported. Additionally, I specialize in addressing Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJD) and Coccydynia. For those with TMJD, I perform intraoral work, adjustments to the jaw or neck, among other methods of care. For Coccydynia, I am licensed and trained to perform intra-rectum adjustments. This specialized adjustment technique is not commonly taught. It is typically reserved for cases where traditional techniques are ineffective, and someone has been suffering with persistent (chorionic issues) and do not wish to undergo surgery or cortisone injections.
