Andrea Ruales's Unique Practice

Osteopathic Manual Therapy focuses on the body's integrity, and natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate. We use hands-on techniques, like gentle joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation, to address structural imbalances, improve circulation and fluid dynamics in the body.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioners consider the interconnectedness of the different body systems (musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic) and concentrates in treating the root cause of health issues rather than chasing the symptoms.

Areas of Focus and Specialization

Some conditions this therapy can help, but is not limited to, are: headaches, whiplash, neck and shoulder pain, elbow, wrist and hand pain, lower back, hip, and knee pain, sport injuries, joint pain and stiffness.

Structural/postural imbalances, TMJ issues, musculoskeletal discomfort, improved mobility by working on joints, muscles, and tissues. Enhances flexibility and range of motion.

Promotes better blood flow and lymphatic drainage, aiding in overall circulation. It aims not only to treat existing issues but also prevent future problems by addressing imbalances and promoting overall health.

About Andrea Ruales

Almost 3 years ago, I earned my Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M. OMSc) and I am also a proud member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA), Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN) which hold the highest standards of manual practice.

I have a passionate eye for human anatomy and its physiological processes. Osteopathic Practice allows me to tailor each manual treatment in the search for the root CAUSE of dysfunction rather than chasing the symptoms.
